Project Description
Rotary Club of Biratnagar Fusion successfully organized “Cyclothon 7.0,” a large-scale cycling event conducted under the “Go Green” campaign with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable transportation practices.
The event featured a live cycling rally across the city and surrounding areas, encouraging community participation and spreading the message of environmental responsibility through the promotion of cycling as an eco-friendly mode of transportation.
Funds collected through the initiative were dedicated towards the development and support of a rural school, thereby combining environmental advocacy with meaningful social impact and educational support.
The program also witnessed the participation of notable celebrity guests, including Miss Nepal and Mr. Nepal, which significantly enhanced public engagement and outreach.
The project received extensive coverage from local and national media through newspapers, online platforms, and digital news channels, helping amplify the campaign’s message and community impact across a wider audience.
