Project Description
On 5 April 2026, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with different Rotary Clubs handed over school bags, shoes, and stationery materials to the representatives of Shree Changla Himal Basic School in Dojang, Gyakru, Simkot Rural Municipality, Humla, benefiting 62 primary-level students under Project Jhola.
Recognizing the challenges faced by students in remote areas, Rotary has been continuously working to reduce these barriers by providing essential educational materials and support. These initiatives not only help children in their learning but also contribute to improving school attendance rates.
Through Project Jhola and similar efforts, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu remains committed to expanding access to education and supporting the well-being of children in underserved communities.
