Project Description
🌟 Rotary Haat Bazar 2026 🌟
“Empowering Communities by Uniting Local Brands and Skilled Hands”
With a vision to introduce innovative income-generating activities, the 14 Rotary Clubs jointly organized the Rotary Haat Bazar on January 24th and 25th as a two-day exhibition dedicated to promoting local products, local production, and community entrepreneurship.
The main objective of the event was to strengthen local productivity, encourage value-chain development, and provide a platform for small entrepreneurs, skilled artisans, and local brands to showcase their products. The Haat Bazar successfully brought together communities, businesses, youth, and Rotary family members under one roof.
The program also featured:
🎤 Public Speaking Contest – encouraging youth leadership and confidence
🎨 Painting Competition – engaging and inspiring Interact students
🎻 Cultural Opening Ceremony – highlighted by a beautiful violin performance of the National Anthem by young talent Aswani Wagle, along with traditional Newari Baja that added vibrant cultural energy to the event.
More than 500 visitors attended the exhibition over the two days. Around 27 stalls were installed, featuring food items, handmade crafts, cosmetic products, and various locally produced goods. Visitors highly appreciated the creativity, diversity, and entrepreneurial spirit displayed throughout the event.
The Rotary Haat Bazar became a meaningful platform to support local businesses, inspire youth participation, and strengthen community connection. The overwhelming participation and positive response made the program truly successful.
