Project Description

With the objective of ensuring access to clean, safe, and quality drinking water for school children, a Drinking Water Structure with Reverse Osmosis (RO) System was successfully constructed at Shree Rastriya Secondary School, Bhimphedi–1, Sanutar. The newly constructed drinking water facility is expected to directly benefit the students, teachers, and school staff by providing easy access to purified and safe drinking water within the school premises. The project addresses an important health and hygiene need and contributes to creating a healthier learning environment. “Clean water is the foundation of a healthy life, and expanding access to quality drinking water at the school level is an important and positive achievement.” He emphasized Rotary’s continued commitment toward community health, education, and sustainable development initiatives.
On behalf of the school community, the School Management Committee expressed sincere gratitude to all supporting Rotary Clubs, donors, and partners for their valuable contribution. The committee acknowledged that the project has brought direct benefits to the entire school family and will have a lasting positive impact on students’ health and well-being.
The program was attended by Rotary Past Presidents, club office bearers, Rotaractors, members of the School Management Committee, teachers, students, parents, and local social workers, reflecting strong community participation and collective commitment toward public health and educational development.
This project stands as an example of Rotary’s dedication to humanitarian service and its ongoing mission to improve lives through sustainable community-based interventions.
