Project Description
BRT Rota MUN 2026 was organized on 16th and 17th May to mark Rotary Youth Month in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Biratnagar Downtown and Rotaract Club of Biratnagar Central. The event aimed to provide a platform for students and young leaders to develop leadership, diplomacy, communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills through Model United Nations simulations.
Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown supported the program by sponsoring trophies, momentoes, tokens of appreciation, certificates of participation, and participant kit cloth bags printed with Rotary logos, with total support valued at approximately NPR 25,000.
The event benefited over 80–100 students and youth participants from different schools and colleges. Through debates, committee discussions, and collaborative problem-solving activities, participants gained exposure to global issues, teamwork, and public speaking while also increasing awareness about Rotary and community service.
