Three-day rehabilitation and therapy camp for children with CP at Savita Child Neurological rehabiltation centre

Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown organized a three-day CP Rehabilitation & Therapy Camp at the Savita Child Neurological Rehabilitation Centre for children with Cerebral Palsy enrolled at the centre. The camp was conducted under the guidance of rehabilitation specialist Dr. Anil Singh from Moradabad, India.

The objective of the project was to provide professional rehabilitation services, therapy sessions, developmental assessments, caregiver guidance, and staff support for children with special neurological needs. During the camp, each child received individual assessment and therapy sessions based on their physical and developmental condition. Parents and caregivers were guided regarding home-based care, therapy techniques, and methods to improve daily functioning of the children.

The project also focused on strengthening the skills of therapists and caregivers attached to the centre. Around 20 children along with their parents, caregivers, therapists, and staff members directly
