Project Description
Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with Sambhav Inc, successfully organised a School Mental Health Awareness Program for the students of Classes 8, 9, and 10 at Eureka High School, Tarkeshwor on 22 May, 2026. The session was facilitated by Kabita Sigdel.
The 45-minute interactive session focused on the importance of mental health, emotional well-being, stress management, self-confidence, and positive thinking among students. It provided a supportive platform where students could openly learn, share, and understand the significance of maintaining a healthy mind alongside academic growth.
Mental health awareness in schools plays a vital role in helping students manage emotions, cope with challenges, build resilience, and create healthy relationships. Encouraging conversations around mental well-being also helps reduce stigma and promotes a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.
