Project Description
Rotary Club of Bhaktapur successfully held its 22nd Installation Ceremony on July 12th, 2025, at Thapa Party Palace, Surya Binayak, Bhaktapur. The program commenced with a warm registration session and a traditional Newari Baja to welcome District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala. The formal event included handover of responsibilities to incoming President Rtn. Rajesh Twanabasu and the Board of Directors for RY 2025–26, followed by their oath administration by the DG.
Highlights of the event included a touching wheelchair dance performance by Ram Tamang, recognition of 30 SEE Distinction Students under the Narayan Bhakta Purna Keshari Hada Memorial Education Award, and the presentation of Honor Awards. Notable honorees included “Water for All” Latna Bhagat Prajapati and Nepal’s first golf coach Guru Ghanshyam Thapa. The event also featured new member inductions, cultural performances, and the launch of the club's annual souvenir.
The celebration concluded with toasts to the nation and Rotary International, followed by photo sessions and dinner. It was a graceful blend of leadership transition, appreciation, and community spirit.
