Project Description
Rotary Club of Bhaktapur, in collaboration with OISCA-International Nepal Chapter, proudly participated in the Children’s Forest Tree Plantation Program at UCEP Nepal on 31st July 2025. This meaningful event was jointly organized with the support of Inner Wheel Club of Bhaktapur, Interact Club of Bhaktapur Mount Valley English School, Rotaract Club of Bhaktapur, and other key local institutions including Chakraborti Nursing College and Amar Jyoti Gyan Kunja School.
Under the theme “Let’s Unite to Save the Environment,” the event focused on educating children and youth about the importance of reforestation and environmental sustainability. A total of 130 participants actively engaged in planting 150 fruit-bearing trees, symbolizing a commitment to a greener future and food security.
This initiative not only promoted environmental awareness but also strengthened community partnerships and youth engagement.
