Project Description
The Rotary E-Club of Namobuddha Bagmati successfully completed its 13th Service Project, a two-day ICT Training aimed at enhancing the digital skills of public-school teachers.
“This project aligns with Rotary International’s focus area of Basic Education and Literacy.”
Objective of the Program
The main objective was to empower teachers with essential ICT skills to improve classroom teaching, digital learning, and overall academic efficiency.
Participation
A total of 20 teachers from 16 different public schools participated in the training. Their active engagement and positive response contributed greatly to the success of the program.
Program Highlights
• Introduction to basic and advanced ICT tools
• Hands-on practice sessions
• Digital teaching methods
• Use of educational software and online platforms
• Interactive discussions and demonstrations
The trainers provided practical sessions ensuring that teachers could confidently apply the skills in their daily teaching.
Outcome of the Program
The two-day training was completed successfully, with participants expressing that the program was highly beneficial and relevant to modern teaching requirements. The project effectively contributed to improving digital literacy among educators.
