Project Description
An Emergency Blood Donation Program was successfully organized on 9th September 2025 at Dattatraya Square, Bhaktapur. The initiative was led by Kuma Sagar and jointly organized by Rotary Club of Bhaktapur and Rotaract Club of Bhaktapur, in association with Nepal Red Cross Society, with additional support from Pioneer Open Crew.
The primary motive of the program was to respond to the urgent shortage of blood in hospitals caused by the high number of patients who were victims and wounded during the recent Gen-Z protest. With a turnout of around 120–150 participants, the campaign became a strong community response to a humanitarian emergency. Rotarians, Rotaractors, and local youths, especially from Gen-Z, stepped forward as donors, reflecting solidarity and compassion in a time of crisis.
