Project Description
Kathmandu, April 10 – President Rajendra Gautam of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu was honored by Nepal Police for the significant contribution to restoring police stations damaged during the Gen Z movement.
With the support of multiple Rotary clubs, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu & Rotary President Action Group 2025–26 played a key role in rehabilitation efforts by refurbishing, cleaning, repairing, and supplying essential materials to affected police stations, helping them resume operations. The group also organized blood donation drives, assisted injured individuals, and provided medical and food support.
The ceremony was attended by senior police officials and Rotary leaders, where Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki presented certificates of appreciation to the contributors.
This initiative strengthened collaboration between the police and the community, boosting morale and fostering a spirit of service and unity.
