Project Description
Rotary Club of Bhaktapur successfully supported the distribution of tailoring training materials for beneficiaries of the VOICE Project operated by Spinal Injury Sangh Nepal on 19th March 2026. The materials were provided to persons with disabilities participating in Basic and Advanced Tailoring Skills Training conducted at the VOICE Center.
The program was generously supported by STG of ARM Rtn. Udayaram Shrestha, whose valuable contribution helped strengthen skill-based livelihood opportunities for trainees with disabilities. Approximately 12,000 meters of fabric and tailoring materials were distributed and utilized during the training sessions.
Using the provided materials, trainees successfully produced a variety of practical and marketable products including bags, T-mats, and other handmade tailoring items. The initiative aimed to enhance vocational skills, promote self-employment opportunities, and encourage economic independence among persons with disabilities.
The training material support has significantly contributed to improving practical learning experiences and boosting the confidence of trainees to engage in income-generating activities.
