Project Description
Rotary Club of Bhaktapur proudly participated as a co-host in the “Zero Waste Exhibition 2026” organized on the occasion of the International Day of Zero Waste at Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) on 30th–31st March 2026. The event was organized under the leadership of Rotary District 3292 in collaboration with ESRAG (Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group) to promote recycle and upcycle enterprises and encourage sustainable environmental practices.
The exhibition brought together environmental advocates, social enterprises, Rotary leaders, youth volunteers, and community members to showcase innovative zero-waste solutions and eco-friendly products. The program highlighted the importance of waste reduction, recycling, environmental sustainability, and responsible community practices through exhibitions, awareness activities, and networking opportunities.
As a co-host club, Rotary Club of Bhaktapur actively supported the promotion, participation, and community engagement efforts of the exhibition. The event also strengthened Rotary’s commitment toward environmental sustainability and public awareness regarding climate-friendly initiatives and waste management practices.
